The First Walk, which is the “Riches to Rags/Birth of SF/Old San Francisco” tour (still trying to come up w/ poignant phrase/name), kicked off yesterday, August 18, & went well. There were nine folks in all (not counting me, or my son). We started in Nob Hill around 6:30ish & wrapped things up in Chinatown around 8:30. We then dined at Great Eastern Restaurant after spotting well-placed photos of President Obama picking up a take-out order back in February of this year.
I am thinking that the next go will start earlier in the day, running from approx. 4-6PM.
