Nob Hill’s Huntington Park at its Centennial

Below are two articles I wrote surrounding Huntington Park on the occasion of the park’s centennial. Both were in Nob Hill Notables: the first is from 2014, and the second is from 2015. The block was instituted as a public park of San Francisco in 1915, after Arabella Huntington gifted it to the city.

In the below second part, I am not so sure of the “ficus” statement, but when I showed the 1920s photo to an SF Recreation & Parks supervisor, that is what they suggested.
